Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse the our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' (you do not need to register to place your order and Checkout) and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

 

Confirmation of Order

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

All orders accepted by Tink and Burr are subject to the following conditions, not withstanding anything which may be stated to the contrary by the customer unless otherwise by a partner of Tink and Burr in writing.

 

1. Prices

All prices quoted are:

a. Those ruling at the date of despatch
b. Exclude delivery to the UK mainland subject to condition 2
c. Ex-works for export
d. Inclusive of VAT


Tink and Burr reserves the right to alter prices at any time prior to delivery without prior notice.


2. Carriage

Carriage is chargeable on all orders at the current rate (please see delivery page)

3. Despatch

a. Every effort will be made to fulfil promises of despatch and delivery to the address shown of the quotation / order but no liability for failure to do so can be accepted. Despatch will only be affected to the customers own premises unless Tink and Burr has specifically agreed to the contrary.
b. Time of delivery is not of the essence.

 

4. Damage / loss in transit

a. Tink and Burr accepts no liability for any loss resulting from the customer or carriers failure to comply with requirements with respect with notification of damage / shortage / non delivery of goods.
b. Goods should be inspected on receipt and the delivery paperwork, where applicable, only signed once the goods have been checked, any damages or shortage should be advised in writing to the carriers and to ourselves within 3 days.
c. Damaged goods must be retained for inspection at Tink and Burr's discretion.
d. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to forward photographic evidence of the damage.
e. Damaged goods returned to Tink and Burr will only be accepted if carriage is paid and after the Tink and Burr's prior written consent.
f. Non delivery must be advised in writing to the carriers and ourselves within 14 days of date of advice note.


5. Returns

a. Goods supplied in accordance with customers orders cannot be accepted for return without company's prior consent.
b. Returned goods must be sent carriage paid.
c. Feel Good UK reserves the right to levy a handling charge where goods are returned for credit / replacement.


6. Payment

 

a. Tink and Burr accept payment by Cheque, PayPal and Google Checkout.

b. Tink and Burr prefer payment by PayPal and Google Checkout, as this will provide customers with the security of using these methods as well being safe in the knowledge that we have to adhere to the rules of these payment providers.

c. Cheque payments will take 5 working days to clear on receipt at our address, so expect a longer delivery date.

d. All goods must be paid in full before dispatch.


7. Risk and title

Risk shall pass to the customer when the goods are delivered to or collected by the customer and his agent.

8. Warranty

No representation of warranty is made to the suitability or fitness of the goods for any particular purpose, and the customer shall satisfy himself in this respect and be totally responsible therefore.

 

9. Disclaimer

Tink and Burr will continually endeavour to ensure this website, the information and all images contained within it are accurate, current and valid.

At no point will Tink and Burr guarantee or assure the user that all the information, images and otherwise stated within this website are accurate, complete or current. Tink and Burr reserves the complete right to alter, delete or add any information or image to this website at any time without giving prior notice. All of the mentioned aspects are subject to change although Tink and Burr will endeavour to advise customers of this.

Further, this website, materials, images and any other information contained within this website remains the sole property of the owners of Tink and Burr and is subject to copyright laws. Meaning it is explicitly prohibited for any information or image to be copied or reproduced without prior consent from the owners of Tink and Burr.

Tink and Burr reserve the right to refuse a sale and access to this website without reason, or prior warning.

10. Guarantee

Tink and Burr guarantee that all products sold via this website are as described and you are free to ask for additional information and images before purchasing. We check all products before they leave our premises. We are aware that damage may occur during transit. If you are unhappy with your product or there is a problem with it (faulty/damaged) we will be more than happy to replace the item free of charge or issue you a full refund.

These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you can use our website and place orders for items from Tink & Burr. By ordering goods from Tink & Burr you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms.
